Telephone consultations were designed for the convenience of saving the patient traveling time. This option may become available after a patient has had an initial consultation with Dr. Rovito. Please understand that individual medical advice, whether sent by e-mail, regular mail or via the telephone cannot be given without a consultation appointment due to medical-legal reasons. Dr. Rovito will be available to answer all of your questions during scheduled consultations. Please refer to the professional fee section for details.
To set up an appointment with Dr. Rovito you may call 1-888-773-0777. Please leave a message with your name, phone number and best time to be reached, thank you! You may also e-mail Dr. Rovito at rovitomd@gmail.com. You will then be contacted for the date and time of your appointment. We kindly ask that you that you leave a note of your scheduled telephone appointment somewhere visible (refrigerator door, etc.) to avoid missing your consultation.
On the date and time of your appointment you will be called by Dr. Rovito, so we ask that you prepare ahead of time with any questions you may have. Please be considerate and understand that if and when you are not available for your scheduled phone consultation when you are called, then you are essentially depriving another patient from having that consultation. Please call the office in advance if you need to reschedule your appointment. In case of any emergency, please dial 911!
Dr. Rovito will gladly welcome out of network benefit PPO's (Preferred Provider Organizations) for health insurance purposes. Generally speaking, insurance will not pay for telephone consultations, no matter what type of documentation you provide.
